The Transgender District's Entrepreneurship Accelerator program is for Transgender and Queer People of Color who aspire to start a business project.

This free program, first introduced in 2020 by founder Aria Sa’id, began its first pilot program in 2021. Participation in the program includes required webinars, information sessions, and mentorship over a four month, boot camp style course. Participants also receive free business tax filings, one-on-one coaching, the creation of a full brand suite and website, and a seed grant of $10,000 to kick off each of the cohort's proposals at the end of the program.

The Transgender District has since graduated nearly 50 participants from the Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program, and through partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development, have expanded the program’s trainings with Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center to provide the necessary trainings and modules to bolster successful entrepreneurship and business launches for our participants. The Transgender District relies on and has worked with transgender and non-binary entrepreneurs as consultants to the program, ranging from graphic designers, web designers, E-Commerce businesses owners and finance and wealth management professionals to provide as much education and learning opportunities for the program’s participants as possible.
